Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani has been a popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the wealthiest and most affluent. Shottas was a classic movie that featured him with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records and recorded his debut album in 1996, With Father Like Son. This was followed by several singles, including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap was a perfect fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia. They all helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a brand new reggae singer. In 1997, Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell (Fugees) for Avenue a hit cover version of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared at the Midem performance (an international showcase of music) and was first held in Miami.
